There was a time when the Internet was about animated GIFs, GeoCities, dedicated entry pages and nice but superfluous Flash intros. This was when I designed and built my first own website at the age of 16, some time around 2001. I didn’t know how to name the website, so I used “keinplan.de” which is German and could be translated to “idontknow.com”.
I taught myself how to create HTML pages and Flash animations and created the website after school. There was never any interesting content, besides some pictures from my camera (there was nothing like Flickr back then – or at least I didn’t know about it). Nevertheless, it was fun to create the website and it enjoyed many visitors. You were able to go to a secret area by clicking on the dot in the keinplan.de three times without moving the cursor =).
I still had the menu lying around here. Some fonts are messed up, the music player and the links are not working but you can play around with it.
