I want to have this installed on my laptop. I like the fact that the real content gets the focus on no clutter like address or status bar surrounds it. The general Firefox full screen mode is not half as nice.

Beating the iPhone experience will be hard, but if Open Source developers continue to be so creative there is hope =). Battery problems would need to be solved by the device manufacturers. I assume they will do everything to catch up with Apple so this should not be limiting.

Looks cool and all, but all those tabs and multimedia (zooming in/out/around) needs a LOT of energy and if your not able to control the whole system (read iphone) it's gonna be real tricky to get long battery power. Otherway around, we have to beat the iphone since it represents a closed system =)
